Hen and chick is a locally owned, family operated, gift shop located in the heart of downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. We strive to find quality goods made all across Canada for your gifting needs. This includes Canadian made jewelry from local jewelry artists. Beeswax candles, soy candles, everlasting candles, and wooden wick candles because candles are always a good idea. All natural bath and body products including lotions, bath oils and bath salts, face toner, lip balm, body scrubs, and bath bombs.
Many home decor items such as crystals and gemstones, rustic farmhouse style coat hooks and wool blankets made in canada. Baby clothing and needs, like blankets and toques. Do it yourself kits of mushrooms and bath bombs. Jams and pantry items such as pancake mix and syrup, chocolate, lollipops, and maple syrup. Tea and reusable tea bags and strainers to pair with slippers and local art prints. Stuffed animals for the kids along with natural nail polishes. And the smaller items like key chains, postcards, greeting cards and magnets.
There is always a focus on packaging and price point so you can feel comfortable gifting handmade items without the sacrifice of appearance. Our collection has been continually growing over our last eight years in business and has reached over one hundred and twenty small Canadian businesses. This of course includes our local makers of Saskatoon and Saskatchewan as well. We are always adding to the stores options every month so it is always worth a trip to see what is happening at our hidden gem of treasures! Located at 129 2nd Avenue North in downtown Saskatoon.
